how the scoring system works
Numbers are loaded from the live game configuration. Three levels apply to predicted match results: exact result, correct outcome with correct goal difference, or just correct outcome. Wrong outcome = zero points.

Knockout matches use goals after full time including extra time; goals from penalty shootouts are not part of this. If the match goes to penalties, you can get a separate penalty bonus when you predicted a draw for regular time+extra time and submitted a result for the penalty shootout.
Knockout score points only apply when your predicted bracket creates the actual matchup. If your bracket has different teams in that slot, the score prediction for that match earns zero.
